Event – Independence Day parade
Location – Smithville TX
Date – 4 July 2022
The LSMVPA participates in the Smithville parade most years. We had intended to bring five vehicles this year, but for various reasons two could not attend.
Scott and Kelly P, Sam R, and Rory C all brought M1009s, Sam and Rory also brought their M416 trailers. We were given a very small staging spot, but climbing a curb and parking in the grass wasn’t a problem for our vehicles.
We were at the front of the parade itself, behind the lead police car and the Boy Scouts carrying American flags.
The parade went well looked like the whole town came out to celebrate our great nation.
