The Temple Family Day/Military Appreciation Day was held at the Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum. We had 5 members show for this event. As it sometimes happens, things didn’t go according to the plan book. Rain and more rain. This does have the makings of a good event and The “New Army Guys” got a kick outm out of our old equipment. Danny K. had a short but good chat with the General (Assistant Division Commander (ADC) of Fort Hood) and he was impressed with our vehicles and our overall job in keeping military history alive. This event is already planned for next year but will be scheduled a little later in the year.
