Burnet Air Show 2015

25 April, 2015
Burnet, Texas

This year, the airshow and Muster Day were not in conflict, so we were able to attend what is one of our normal annual events.

Overnight thunderstorms apparently dissuaded some of our expected LSMVPA participants, as well as some of the aircraft, but all bad weather (other than a spot of fog) had cleared out of the area by 0600, so no travel or show problems were encountered. It was, in fact, a lovely day.

Scott P brought his M35A2/M105A2 combination; Jim H brought his M38A1; Sam R brought his M1028/M1102; Amanda brought the M1009/M116A3 HSTRU; and Rory C brought his M274A5 Mule for its show debut. Barry F brought the entire Quartermaster setup, and manned it through the day.

Just for fun, we decided to see if the Mule would fit in the back of the M1028. It did, quite well!
