Camp Mabry Museum dedication to General Scribner (Ret)
Location: Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas
Representing our local chapter of the MVPA was Tim W, Jeff McD, and Glen V all dressed in WWII period correct uniform. Also attending was Barry F, Claude V, Web S, Jim S and Scott S.
From what I gathered, there was a ceremony and dedication to General Scribner who has sponsored us for the past many years by allowing the use of the post museum for our club meetings. The ceremony was attended by friends of General Scribner as well as current military dignitaries. A beautiful new museum sign was unveiled as well.
Afterwards, refreshments, cake, cookies and sandwiches were served.
