EVENT: Red White and You Dance

This event is a USO styled fundraiser for the City of Bastrop Convention & Exhibit Center held on site. John C. with his M151A2, Madison H. with his M38A1 and I with my 1948 Servi-Car were invited to place our vintage vehicles at the entrance for display. Charles M. the President of the Texas Heroes Museum in La Grange was also in attendance with a display. In return for our efforts we were invited to take part in the activities. The theme is of the Big Band era with live music, dancing, cigarette girls, food and drinks. Unbeknownst to Blanca and I there was a dance contest for the twist and after the dance it was announced that we won it. It was a fun event for sure.
