Vietnam Travelling Wall 2007

1st – 3rd June 2007

As always, this event is near and dear to our club. Each year the traveling wall comes to Austin (Pflugerville), we try to put several vehicles on display for the Vietnam Vets. This year was no exception.

Scott trailered up his jeep on Thursday evening and dropped it off in the staging area as directed. He was also given ‘rock star’ parking for the trailer over the event weekend so that was one less thing he had to worry about. That was about it. Rick H and Matt W also had their vehicles there too. On Sunday evening promptly at 1800hrs, Scott arrived, hooked the trailer up to the truck and loaded his jeep.

The single event that stuck out in Scott’s mind the most about attending this years event was the sheer number of names on the wall – over 56,000 men and women who had families, spouses, children etc.
